Columbus Public Health has a wide variety of healthcare resources to help everyone access the care they may need. Healthcare resources for individuals with limited income can be found through here. Franklin County Public Health

Franklin County Public Health provides a list of healthcare resources for adults with limited incomes. Additionally, their Care Coordination Program connects Franklin County residents to medical and social services throughout the community. Clients are partnered with a Community Health Worker who will help you to access any resources you may need. To be connected to a Community Health Worker, call (614) 525-4892 or complete this form. We are in the process of trying to have a Community Health Worker visiting the New Albany Food Pantry on a regular basis to assist our clients. Helping Hands Health & Wellness Center

Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center is the closest free clinic to New Albany. They are located at 5100 Karl Rd., Columbus 43229. They have weekly TB testing on Tuesday (11am-1pm) and a walk-in clinic on Tuesdays (8am-9am) and Thursdays (3pm-4:30pm). They also offer a free Women’s health and cancer screening clinic and physicals one Thursday each month from 11am-2pm (check the calendar for dates). They serve uninsured and underinsured adults 18+ years old. Refer to the website or call 614-262-5094 for the most current information.

CelebrateOne

CelebrateOne is a program run by the City of Columbus which aims to support pregnant women, new mothers, and new babies, and reduce the infant mortality rate in Columbus. Learn more and access resources here. You can also contact celebrateone@columbus.gov for more information.

Primary One Health

Visit Primary One Health’s website or call (614) 645-5500 to schedule an appointment. Primary One can assist you in acquiring health insurance and signing up for other relevant healthcare benefits. Translation services are also available.

Columbus Free Clinic

This student-run clinic serves anyone for free regardless of financial, insurance, or immigration status. They offer primary care, counseling, x-rays, ultrasounds, and pharmacy services free of charge. They currently have in-person and telehealth appointments available. Physicians CareConnections

Physicians CareConnection is a volunteer-based, charitable organization that helps coordinate care for vulnerable adults in Central Ohio. They facilitate the Physicians Free Clinic a free medical and dental clinic on Mondays 5:30pm-9pm. You can make an appointment by calling 614-884-2441. Their Step One for Healthy Pregnancy program connects pregnant mothers with the medical care they need. Call 614-721-0009 to get connected.

Lower Lights Christian Health Center

Lower Lights Christian Health Center provides holistic care to both insured and uninsured people of all ages. In addition to primary care, they offer dental, vision, pharmaceutical, and behavioral health support. Fees are along a sliding scale. You must have an appointment with one of their doctors before being referred to services such as dental or vision. Telehealth appointments are available. Equitas Health

Equitas Health provides medical, dental, pharmacy, mental health, and HIV/AIDS support services. They have expertise in treating the LGBTQ+ population. Translations services available. Find a convenient location online to contact here.

La Clínica 

La Clínica is a free clinic for those who speak Spanish or English. They are open Tuesday 5:30pm-8:30pm. For more information, visit their website or call (614) 349-1038. They provide prescription assistance, lab work, referrals to specialist, and support for common concerns like diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, asthma, gastritis, UTIs, back pain, the common cold, and birth control.

Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio

The Charitable Pharmacy provides medication, screenings, education, medication counseling, and social program referrals at no cost for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured Franklin County residents. The pharmacy is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 9am-3pm. Call (614) 227-0301 or go to their website for more information.

Concord Counseling

Located in Westerville, Concord Counseling provides a variety of mental health services at implements a sliding-scale fees structure to maximize affordability. Go to their website and call 614-882-9338.
